Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily location operations on Oahu (Ewa Beach). You will manage a custodial crew, coordinate with tenants, vendors, and management, and ensure timely reporting and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to drive tasks to high standards, and the capacity to handle physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Hawaii driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Previous maintenance or related experience required.
• Must pass the HBM prescreen check.
• Basic phone and computer skills for scheduling and tracking performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of a designated location.
• Ensure effective communication with team members, tenants, vendors, and management.
• Lead and supervise a custodial team, demonstrating strong organizational/communication skills.
• Respond to emails and phone calls promptly.
• Submit daily, weekly or monthly reports.
• Review and submit employee timecards weekly.
• Oversee the cleaning, parking lots, and building maintenance.
• Operate leaf blowers and perform pressure washing on walk paths and necessary areas.
• Conduct painting tasks as required.
• Drive to pick up and transport building supplies efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with management, customers, vendors, and property managers.
• Attend and actively participate in company meetings to discuss operational strategies and updates.
• Perform other assigned duties by your supervisor.

• Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently, carrying at least 25 lbs., reaching overhead, grasping objects, pressing, bending, kneeling, walking, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking up and down stairs, and using a ladder.

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM-3:00 PM (subject to emergencies and mandatory meetings)
• Hourly pay rate: $18.00
