Job summary

TEAM Group is seeking a Supervisor in Montgomery, AL to lead a team delivering high-quality industrial cleaning and support services. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and cost-effective management under the Site Manager.

You will coach staff, oversee shifts, and ensure customer satisfaction across the project scope. The position requires 2+ years in a supervisory role, experience in paint shop environments is a plus, and a reliable commute to Montgomery, AL.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience at supervisor level in cleaning/industrial environment.
• Experience in automotive paint manufacturing or industrial cleaning is a plus.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Supervisor is accountable for the overall safety, security, efficiency, and cost-effective management of their team. The Supervisor must effectively lead a group of team members to deliver superior industrial cleaning and support service results across all areas of their responsibility. The ideal candidate will lead by example, using their coaching skills to develop a culture of trust by inspiring, while challenging and promoting the workforce.

Schedule

• Third Shift, Sat-Tues, 8:00pm to 6:00am
• Weekend availability as required.

Salary

• $62,000-$67,000/year

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and develop up to 10-20 team members;
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities in industrial cleaning within the paint shop vicinity: high-pressure water blasting, sanitation and solvent use;
• Utilize monthly schedules and timesheets for cleaning services and to obtain daily assurance ratings from the customer;
• Ensure timely scheduling of training and development for team members;
• Order and maintain the use of PPE and supplies, ensuring team members are adequately equipped;
• Understand and achieve all required targets for safety, customer satisfaction, financial and operating performance;
• Ensure the customer’s value proposition is clearly understood by the onsite team and that the level of customer satisfaction is validated in the KPI’s;
• Utilize ADP for timesheets and data entry;
• Implement/utilize all required companies operating platforms and systems;
• Communicate with the customer to provide support, address service requests and inquiries;
• Abide by all health and safety policies, practices, and procedures as per OSHA standards;
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years experience at the supervisor-level, ideally in a cleaning or industrial environment;
• Automotive paint manufacturing or industrial cleaning experience is considered an asset;
• Knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment in paint shops is considered an asset;
• Ability to lead and participate in a dynamic fast-paced team-based environment;
• Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills as well as strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills;
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all regulations;
• Ability to reliably commute to Montgomery, AL for work.
