The ideal candidate has at least one year of supervisory experience in facility services, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops and enforces safety documents and PPE requirements.
• Evaluates and counsels crew on quality and safety.
• Provides equipment, supplies, and direction to the crew.
• Acts as liaison with customers/clients at the site.
• Prepares and submits job reports to management or customer.
• Inspects equipment and pulls out damaged items from service.
• Conducts site inspections and safety tours.

MPS Group, Inc.,is seeking aFront-LinePaint Booth Cleaner Supervisorto join our teamat theScout Motors Production Centerlocated inBlythewood, SC.This individual will be responsible for the safety of personnel and subcontractors, the quality of work, managing routine sanitation/janitorial cleaning and out-of-scope industrial cleaning operations at host facility.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Develops TIS’ and reviews these safety documents with the crew routinely. This involves evaluating the safety hazards on the job and determining and enforcing the precautions, procedures and PPE needed.
• Evaluates and counsels' employees on quality and safety.
• Provides direction, equipment, small tools, materials and supplies to support the crew.
• Acts as a customer/client liaison.
• Prepares and submits job reports as directed by the site manager, director and/or customer.
• Receives and stows materials and supplies received.
• Inspects equipment and small tools to ensure in proper working condition and red tag and pulls out of service items that are damaged, broken or malfunctioning.
• Conducts site inspections and Safety Tours: Mod Audits, Prime Booth Audits, Conveyor Audits, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in facility services, industrial cleaning, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have knowledge of all equipment used on the job site as well as all personal protective equipment, safety supplies, policies and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
