Job summary

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking a Front-Line Paint Booth Cleaner Supervisor to join the Scout Motors Production Center in Blythewood, SC. This role ensures safety, quality and sanitation standards while leading a cleaning crew on 2nd shift.

You will manage routine sanitation, provide direction and materials to the crew, and liaise with customers. Candidates need at least one year in industrial cleaning and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in facility services or industrial cleaning.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of PPE, safety supplies, policies and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Develops safety documents with the crew and enforces precautions.
• Evaluates and counsels employees on quality and safety.
• Provides direction, equipment, materials and supplies to the crew.
• Acts as a customer liaison.
• Prepares and submits job reports as directed by the site manager, director and/or customer.
• Inspects equipment and small tools; red tags damaged items.
• Conducts site inspections and Safety Tours (Audits).

Shift Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Develops TIS’ and reviews these safety documents with the crew routinely. This involves evaluating the safety hazards on the job and determining and enforcing the precautions, procedures and PPE needed.
• Evaluates and counsels' employees on quality and safety.
• Provides direction, equipment, small tools, materials and supplies to support the crew.
• Acts as a customer/client liaison.
• Prepares and submits job reports as directed by the site manager, director and/or customer.
• Receives and stows materials and supplies received.
• Inspects equipment and small tools to ensure in proper working condition and red tag and pulls out of service items that are damaged, broken or malfunctioning.
• Conducts site inspections and Safety Tours: Mod Audits, Prime Booth Audits, Conveyor Audits, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in facility services, industrial cleaning, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have knowledge of all equipment used on the job site as well as all personal protective equipment, safety supplies, policies and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
