Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Foreman/Superintendent to supervise skilled trades crews on large site work projects (concrete) with a focus on safety, production, and profitability.

You will collaborate with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers to guide on-site activities, develop 90-day and 3-week schedules, and oversee costs while coordinating manpower, equipment, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical experience progressing through the ranks.
• (5+) years similar construction Field Management experience.
• Bridge/Highway experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage several Foreman on conducting work safely, productively, and focusing on quality.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for your crews.
• Assists the Project Manager in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs associated with your work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs for crews.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
