Role Description

This full-time, on-site Superintendent role is based in Greenville, NC. The Superintendent oversees day-to-day field operations, including coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and according to plans and specifications. Responsibilities include monitoring quality control, enforcing safety standards, conducting site meetings, and maintaining detailed project documentation. The Superintendent works closely with project managers, clients, and inspectors to address issues promptly, support budget and timeline adherence, and represent the company professionally on the jobsite.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supervising commercial or industrial construction projects, including oversight of daily field activities and subcontractor coordination.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and reading/interpreting plans and specifications.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project managers, clients, consultants, and field teams.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage schedules, handle issues proactively, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with basic construction-related software and tools (e.g., project management platforms, digital plans, email, and spreadsheets).
• Proven commitment to jobsite safety, including leading safety meetings and enforcing company and regulatory safety standards.
• Prior experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar leadership role in construction is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or a degree in construction management or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions and to address project needs outside typical business hours when necessary.
