Job summary

INEOS Acetyls seeks an experienced Site Shift Lead to act as the on-scene Incident Commander during plant emergencies and to provide operations support across Acetic Acid, Plasticizer-168, Utilities, and Logistics. The role requires supervising shifts, coordinating safety programs, and ensuring proper staffing for ERT/Medic needs.

Strong leadership and safety mindset are essential. The position operates on a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, weekends and holidays, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• 18 Years of Age with a High School diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of plant operations experience including process troubleshooting.
• 5+ years Console Operator experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred; required if <5 years with company.
• Possess or obtain TWIC card before first day of employment.
• USA work authorization (citizen or permanent resident).

Responsibilities

• Meet SHE objectives and comply with governmental laws for a manufacturing site.
• On-site Incident Command lead for plant emergencies and incidents.
• Lead after-hours communications and staffing, including safety meetings and shift handoffs.
• Operate asset control boards for vacation relief and qualification maintenance.
• Support Logistics activities during off-hours (marine, truck, rail).
• Drive improvements to housekeeping, civils, and asset condition targets.
