Job summary

INEOS Acetyls is seeking a Site Shift Lead to serve as the on-scene incident commander on 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and holidays. The role focuses on safety, process safety, and coordinating emergency response while ensuring proper staffing and communication across departments.

The position requires extensive plant operations experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to SHE standards and government compliance.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
10+ years of plant operations experience including significant process troubleshooting.
5+ years Console Operator experience.
Supervisory experience preferred; required if <5 years in plant ops within the company.
Must possess or obtain a TWIC card before first day of employment.
Must hold a current valid driver's license in the United States.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Serve on-site as Site Shift Lead and Incident Commander for emergencies; manage safety, headcount, and communications.
Coordinate emergency response with Fire & Safety; isolate processes and supervise clean-up.
Maintain staffing schedules, monitor after-hours operations, and lead safety meetings.
