Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan's Climax Molybdenum is seeking a Supervisor Site Services in Climax, Colorado. You will lead non-exempt maintenance staff, promoting safe, reliable operation of utility equipment and ensuring daily activities meet customer and management expectations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of related operational experience, or a technical Bachelor’s with 2 years supervisory experience; SAP experience and PM schedules knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical utility related discipline and 2 years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
Experience using SAP for equipment maintenance and parts identification.
Experience with Power Distribution and Substation maintenance and PM Schedules.
Experience with Water and Wastewater Distribution maintenance and PM Schedules.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to synthesize data inputs to improve decisions.
Adept at learning new systems and complex processes.
Ability to support in budget preparation, monitoring and administration.
Ability to develop and maintain safety awareness and practices.
Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

Promote efficient operations of all utility equipment in a safe, reliable manner.
Directly manage the daily activities and development of non-exempt maintenance staff; conduct performance evaluations.
Identify issues, troubleshoot, and resolve daily maintenance duties; train others as needed.
Record data to measure performance and drive reliability improvements.
Inspect work, identify problems, and direct remedial actions.
Maintain inventory of parts and materials for timely responses.
Maintain time, materials and equipment use reports.
Coordinate on-call scheduling for a 24/7 operation and meet customer expectations.
Ensure proper documentation and administrative controls for long-term asset sustainability.
Serve as delegate when senior leadership is off-site.
Perform other duties as required.
