Job summary

Hudbay seeks a Site Services Lead to run daily facility maintenance and site service operations for Copper World Project. You will direct technicians and contractors to ensure high facility availability and safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating inspections, leading repairs, and overseeing preventive maintenance programs while partnering with operations and engineering teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a lead, or supervisory role.
• Preferred: Advanced knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems; proficiency with diagnostic tools and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize routine inspections of site facilities, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Lead and oversee daily maintenance and upkeep of active mine facilities and infrastructure.
• Oversee the upkeep of light vehicle and mobile equipment maintenance programs.
• Manage end-to-end preventive maintenance processes for facility equipment and systems.
• Provide onsite leadership during facility breakdowns or emergencies.
• Collaborate with mine operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to achieve project goals.
• Prepare technical reports detailing facility status, resource usage, and contractor performance.
• Manage inventory, tools, spare parts, and vendor coordination.
