Job summary

CoberonChronos is seeking a service-focused engineer to support the installation and maintenance of advanced Nuclear Medicine imaging systems, including CT and PET platforms. The role requires independent field service, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach to ensure high uptime and optimal image quality.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with medical imaging equipment, a technical B.Sc., and proven ability to troubleshoot

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical education preferred.
  • Medical Imaging Expertise: Minimum of 3 years servicing and installing medical imaging equipment (CT or PET experience required; Nuclear Medicine equipment experience highly preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency: Troubleshooting computers, software installations/upgrades, and complex electromechanical assemblies.
  • Industrial Experience: Proven track record in servicing and troubleshooting sophisticated hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on imaging systems and perform upgrades.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
  • Education: B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical education preferred.
  • Medical Imaging Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience servicing and installing medical imaging equipment (CT or PET experience required; Nuclear Medicine equipment experience is highly preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency: Significant skills in troubleshooting computers, software installations/upgrades, and complex electromechanical assemblies.
  • Industrial Experience: Proven track record in servicing and troubleshooting sophisticated industrial or medical hardware.
