leading independent service organization is seeking a skilled and motivated Imaging Engineer to join their expanding team, supporting healthcare facilities across the North East region. This field-based role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of advanced medical imaging systems, including SPECT and Nuclear Medicine equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining system performance, ensuring imaging equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on imaging systems (SPECT, Nuclear Medicine, and related modalities).
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently while maintaining detailed service and compliance documentation.
- Install and configure imaging systems to manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
- Build strong relationships with clinical and technical staff through professional, responsive communication.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure replacement components meet functionality and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience servicing medical imaging systems (preferably SPECT/Nuclear Medicine).
- Strong electronics and mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently throughout the North East region.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States.
