Job summary

Hana Technologies and Systems is seeking a Site Manager for Craney Island Fuel Terminal and Lafayette River Annex in Norfolk, VA. You will supervise a team, ensure security standards, manage access, patrols, incident response, and coordinate with the Program Manager to deliver reliable security services.

The role requires leadership, integrity, and a background in armed security, with clear English communication and adherence to company policies. Evening and weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four (4) years managing security operations at multiple sites.
• Minimum 3 years armed security experience in last five years or two years honorable service in US Armed Forces.
• Proficiency using firearms (9mm and AR-15).
• Must be a US citizen with no felony convictions and no domestic violence convictions.
• English literacy to write, read and understand printed regulations, orders, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lieutenants and oversee the security operations at Craney Island Fuel Terminal and Lafayette River Annex to ensure contract compliance and safety.
• Develop and implement schedules, including timely publication and backfilling to avoid open posts.
• Address performance issues per the Progressive Disciplinary Policy in coordination with the PM.
• Oversee safety inspections and enforce the Company Safety Plan; maintain weapons proficiency.
• Prepare reports, investigations, and other administrative tasks as requested by the PM.
