Job summary

Hana Technologies and Systems seeks an Administrative Security Captain to support the Site Manager at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. You will aid staffing, training, and compliance while helping lead Lieutenants and Security Officers.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent, 4+ years of security operations management across sites, and firearms proficiency (9mm/AR-15). U.S. citizenship and clean background are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years managing security operations at multiple sites.
• 3 years of Armed Security Officer experience in the last 5 years or 2 years of honorable service in any US Armed Forces.
• Proficient using firearms (9mm and AR-15).
• Must be a U.S. citizen with no felony convictions; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing decisions, schedule adjustments, and call-offs to prevent open posts.
• Assist Site Manager and Project Manager with day-to-day operations and compliance.
• Conduct post inspections to ensure officers are properly uniformed, alert, and equipped; recognize high performers.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and FSO on employment changes and documentation.
• Assist with training and certification tracking, and administer disciplinary actions per policy.
