Job summary

Ahtna Inc. seeks a Site Lead to act as the primary front-line security officer responsible for emergency response using established tactics, techniques, and procedures within specified time constraints.

The Site Lead oversees Security Guard II duties, ensures scheduling, training certifications, payroll data and event logs are accurate, and coordinates with APSI for staffing and compliance with HR policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year armed security or law enforcement experience; one of: Associates in Criminal Justice, 3 years security, or POST.
• State Armed Security Guard license required.
• Fluent in English; valid driver’s license; pass background, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of duties and responsibilities of Security Guard II.
• Provide guard briefings to in-coming officers on current activities.
• Visit and inspect each guard post within the first 2 hours of guard shift and document post visit.
• Respond to incidents and direct guard response activities.
• Ensure timely, accurate reports including payroll data and training records.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
