Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking a senior security leader to manage station Physical Protection, Fitness for Duty and Access Authorization programs. The role requires directing security staff, budgeting, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a nuclear facility.

The candidate will drive strategic security initiatives, oversee program maintenance, and counsel station management on security operations and compliance matters. Strong experience in security leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years total experience, incl. 6 in security, law enforcement or military and supervisory experience.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 10 years, incl. 6 in security, law enforcement or military and supervisory experience.
• Associates with 12 years, incl. 8 in security, law enforcement or military and supervisory experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 14 years, incl. 10 in security, law enforcement or military and supervisory experience.
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Responsibilities

• Manage the station Physical Protection, Fitness for Duty and Access Authorization programs.
• Direct activities and monitor the performance of the station security staff. Where included as employees, this would include the physical guard force
• Develop and manage the station security budget.
• Advise and counsel station management on Security Operations, Fitness for Duty and Access Authorization issues.
• Identify and implement industry best practices to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient use of resources.
• Own the establishment and implementation of strategic plans for the security organization.
• Own the maintenance of the Physical Protection, Fitness for Duty and Access Authorization Programs.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including emergency response, outage support
