Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking an Armed Nuclear Security Officer to defend the site against radiological threats and safeguard public health. You will patrol, inspect, control access, and respond to emergencies according to the Site Security Plan and post orders.

Responsibilities include maintaining qualifications, monitoring CCTV, documenting actions, and collaborating with the Armed Response Force. Nuclear site training and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test with negative results.
• Must be able to pass extensive background checks including criminal history and verifications.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site perimeter and access control.
• Conduct patrols and inspections of security areas.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; respond to threats and contingencies.
• Operate radio/console equipment and document activities accurately.
• Maintain NRC and site training qualifications for armed security duties.
