Job summary

Constellation is seeking an experienced nuclear engineer to perform advanced engineering tasks in support of nuclear plant operations. You will apply expertise to safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance while leading engineering activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10 years of experience, strong leadership, and the ability to meet access and medical standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience; teamwork and leadership attributes.
  • Maintain access requirements or unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced nuclear engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • Ensure work products comply with safety analyses, industry codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate functional supervisory activities including personnel, budgetary accountability and planning goals.
  • Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical consultation and direct involvement.
  • Support plant design modifications, testing and problem solving.
