Job summary

Constellation is seeking a senior nuclear engineer to perform advanced engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. The role requires technical leadership, deep disciplinary knowledge, and a proven track record in applying industry codes and regulations to complex projects.

You will lead engineering activities related to safety, reliability, maintenance, and availability, ensuring compliance with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of engineering experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and teamwork.
• Ability to meet access requirements and pass medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects.
• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability ensuring compliance to customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Manage engineering tasks and propose equipment or methods to improve performance and reduce costs.
