Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Site Supervisor to support our government customer in Lorton, VA. The role involves functional management of Access Control Officers and Security Escorts, overseeing badge issuance, escort duties, and security compliance at SCIF facilities.

The candidate will verify IDs, coordinate with CMS Lenel systems, maintain shift logs, and ensure entry-exit controls, audits, and emergency communications. A TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as an Access Control Officer utilizing security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
• 2 years of experience as an Access Control Supervisor.
• CPR and AED certified.
• Must be able to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting and stooping for up to 12 hours.
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Escort non-cleared personnel as needed.
• Verify identification and brief on facility security and safety responsibilities.
• Remain with non-cleared personnel during work activities and escort them out afterward.
• Provide access control services for government facilities and control access of personnel, equipment, and media.
• Perform badge checks to ensure proper access, and verify government equipment and authorization forms.
• Verify security clearances and SCI access in DISS or Scattered Castles and issue appropriate visitor badges.
• Conduct random entry/exit inspections per local EEIP.
• Capture entry-exit form reviews in journal for COR review.
• Use CMS Lenel systems to verify 100% access for cleared and un-cleared individuals.
• Maintain shift logs (CDRL A012) and door sign-in sheets; log accountability for government-furnished equipment.
• Notify authorities of emergencies and life-threatening situations.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
