Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Site Supervisor to support a government customer in Charlottesville, Virginia. The successful candidate will oversee access control operations, ensure compliance with security procedures, and coordinate with security staff to maintain a safe facility environment.

The role requires experience as an Access Control Officer and supervisor, and active US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as an Access Control Officer using security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
• 2 years of experience as an Access Control Supervisor.
• CPR and AED certified.
• Must be able to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting and stooping for up to 12 hours.
• Must read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Must understand and apply printed rules, orders, and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Functional management and support of Access Control Officers and Security Escort duties.
• Escort non-cleared personnel as needed and verify identification.
• Brief facility security responsibilities and prohibit items for visitors.
• Escort and supervise janitorial, maintenance, and other workers in work areas.
• Provide access control services for government facilities and SCIF entry/exit checks.
• Ensure badge validity and proper equipment/media entry/exit authorization forms.
• Issue ESCORT REQUIRED badges to un-cleared individuals and visitors.
• Verify security clearances in DISS or Scattered Castles and notify sponsors of visitor arrival.
• Conduct random entry/exit inspections and maintain CMS-based verification.
• Maintain shift logs and sign-in sheets; inventory government-furnished equipment.
• Notify authorities of life-threatening situations and other emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
