Job summary

Sky Mavis is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to support project staff and the Clayco safety team in implementing corporate safety standards on construction projects. The role involves developing safety programs, conducting site orientations, and leading regular safety meetings to ensure OSHA compliance across nationwide projects.

The candidate will monitor safety performance, train personnel, and manage incident reporting while traveling to sites, with a focus on creating a zero-injury culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent.
• 0-5 years of safety experience with a working knowledge of safety/environment principles and techniques.
• 2-3 years of field experience required.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees and record participation.
• Attend initial meetings with project staff and subcontractor reps to define roles within the safety program.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractor reps to establish procedures.
• Field tasks solo on a project up to $80M.
• Establish and conduct regular safety meetings with subcontractor reps and project staff.
• Provide safety training for site personnel ensuring OSHA/Clayco standards compliance.
• Maintain logs of subcontractor toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Investigate incidents and generate proper safety reports.
