You must possess a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CQM-C certificate, an SSO certification, and an OSHA 30 card to qualify for this role.

Workplace Information:

This position is based in Leeds, MA. We are prioritizing local applicants only. Compensation is set at $50-55 per hour. This is a 6-month contract role operating on a Monday through Friday, first-shift schedule. Please note that there is no per diem or travel reimbursement provided.

• Analyze workplace mishaps and near-misses to help foster a culture of continuous safety improvement.
• Verify that all personnel strictly adhere to personal protective equipment mandates and relevant safety laws.
• Facilitate clear communication regarding safety enhancements between leadership and the workforce.
• Collaborate with project leads and government representatives to help ensure the site remains compliant and safe for all personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional background in industrial or construction safety, specifically within federal or government environments.
• Possession of an OSHA 30-Hour certification is mandatory.
• Must hold an SSHO Certification to satisfy 29 CFR 1926.16 standards.
• Deep understanding of regional, state, and federal safety compliance requirements.
• Superior leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to handle diverse responsibilities while working autonomously.
