Job summary

Sendero Energy Services in Houston, TX seeks a Site Safety Manager to oversee safety programs at designated sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe working environment. The role reports to the Safety Director and requires collaboration with multiple departments while traveling to project sites across Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a safety management role, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in occupational health and safety is preferred.
• Familiarity with safety management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continually improve site-specific safety programs and policies.
• Ensure alignment with company-wide safety initiatives and industry best practices.
• Stay informed about local, state, and federal safety regulations; conduct regular audits.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and other incidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of the site, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for the site and coordinate drills.
• Foster a culture of safety and collaborate with other departments to integrate safety into operations.
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, inspections, training, and incidents.
