Job summary

Barnhart Energy Company, a sister company of Barnhart Crane and Rigging, is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead field teams and implement the HSE Management System on projects.

Relocation to project site is required with travel up to 75%+, including climbing wind turbines. You will ensure regulatory compliance, protect personnel, and report safety status to senior leaders and customers across the program.

Qualifications

• Must be able to climb wind turbines.
• Must be available to travel 75%+.
• 5+ years of Safety Management Experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the BEC Culture. Provide onboarding and developmental training to new team members.
• Manage project risk by ensuring compliance with HSE Management System and regulatory/customer requirements.
• Report Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental status to Senior Leaders and Customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Be a student of the work. Self-study to understand the work and manage the associated risk.
• Exhibit the BEC Culture in performing incident investigations, cause analysis, reporting, and implementing corrective/recurrence control actions.
