Job summary

bp is seeking a Field Safety Manager to steer the safety program within a regional Archaea Energy footprint. This remote role requires regular field travel up to 75% and leadership to foster a safety-focused culture across multiple sites.

The candidate will implement safety programs, train staff, perform JHAs, and ensure OSHA and PSM compliance while coordinating with operations and contractors to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
• PSM experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide H&S support to employees in designated area.
• Implement safety programs, policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA.
• Inspect properties and facilities for hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop training and ensure PPE is available and used.
• Conduct JHAs and participate in incident investigations.
• Audit compliance with PSM requirements and safety regulations.
