Job summary

Barnhart Energy Company seeks a Project Manager to coordinate field operations and lead a site team across multiple project sites. You will collaborate with the Director of Operations, Operations Manager and Sales Team to plan, schedule, and execute projects, including invoicing and change orders.

You will travel overnight to project sites as needed and ensure strict safety and policy compliance. The role requires strong leadership, trusted communication with all levels, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Ability to build trust with manager, supervision, mechanics and operators.
• Strategic thinking and leadership.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Consultation skills.
• Knowledge of Wind Energy a plus.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment a plus.
• Engineering or Construction Technology education preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and work on assignments.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates work with the Director of Operations.
• Work in a fast-paced site office environment.
• Travel overnight to project sites as needed.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, coordination and invoicing through execution and payment with Operations Manager and Sales Team.
• Direct and manage the site team.
• Ensure efficiency and compliance with policy and procedures.
• Develop crew list for PM, Director of Operations and QA Director.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics for mobile crane projects.
• Manage client relationships.
• Support Health and Safety audits and weekly safety focuses.
• Be the contract expert.
• Address scope and schedule changes; assist with submittals and change orders.
• Communicate with local union reps to negotiate manpower.
