The Thomas Young Group is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support project delivery and field operations in Boise, Idaho. You will oversee health and safety practices across mission critical and commercial electrical construction projects and work closely with project leadership and field teams to ensure safe planning and execution of work.

You will lead and mentor on-site safety personnel, conduct site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and develop project safety plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field or CSP certification.
• 5–7 years of safety experience in commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Experience on mission critical/data center/healthcare/large-scale commercial projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Experience working for an electrical contractor is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of high-risk construction activities including excavation, fall protection, cranes, scaffolding, and confined spaces.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with field teams in fast-paced construction environments.

• Leading and mentoring on-site safety personnel, including performance management and training support.
• Conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Developing and reviewing project specific safety plans and procedures.
• Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to maintain compliance across site activities.
• Delivering safety training and supporting continuous improvement across safety programs.
• Supporting emergency response planning and maintaining readiness outside normal working hours when required.
