Job summary

Faulconer Construction Company, Inc. seeks a Site Safety Manager to lead safety across our heavy civil projects. You will conduct site inspections, investigate incidents, coach teams on safe behaviors, and report to the Sr.

Safety Manager with support from the Safety Team. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of site safety management on multi-employer sites with heavy civil experience. OSHA 500 and CPR/FA training are preferred; must obtain within 6 months if not currently held.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as a site safety manager for multiple employer construction sites.
• Experience in heavy civil construction with multiple trades.
• OSHA 500 certification preferred; if not, able to obtain within 6 months.
• CPR/FA Instructor certification preferred; able to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license with a favorable driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screens and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Site safety inspections.
• Lead incident investigations.
• Onsite coaching and influencing safe working behaviors.
• Safety training (excavation, confined space, fall protection, etc.).
• Assist operations with risk assessments.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
• Manage PPE purchasing and maintenance.
• Review plans to assist in planning activities.
• Develop toolbox talks on recent trends.
• Perform root cause analyses and share lessons learned.
• Communicate incident reports and lessons learned to operations teams.
• Elevate safety concerns to Faulconer safety team.
• Provide weekly updates during Safety Team meetings.
