Job summary

McCarl's Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Advisor to promote a safe working environment on all projects. You will advise site management, assist in regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture across crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include monitoring OSHA/EPA compliance, conducting inspections, leading safety trainings, investigating incidents, and maintaining safety documentation. Travel to jobsites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification required.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local construction safety regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities for OSHA, EPA, and company safety compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with safety requirements.
• Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks to workers and visitors.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports with corrective actions.
