Job summary

Mei-Industrial-Solutions is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support MEI field operations under the Region EH&S Manager, conducting inspections and incident investigations.

You must have current First Aid/CPR/AED, OSHA 30-hour Construction Card, and a safety degree or 5 years of multi-site EHS experience. Strong communication and leadership skills are required to promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Recognize safety hazards and maintain vigilance on site.
• Maintain current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
• Hold OSHA 30-hour Construction Card and renew every two years.
• Possess a safety degree or minimum 3–5 years in safety management; have ASP/CHST/CSP if possible.
• Minimum 5 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience in construction or manufacturing across multiple sites.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with OSHA standards.
• Minimum 5 years of MS Office Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations through site inspections and safety compliance.
• Investigate incidents and promote an incident-free field operation.
• Communicate MEI EHS policies and regulatory changes.
• Provide training and required certifications for employees and subcontractors.
• Manage SIPPS, hot work permits, confined spaces, SDS, and related safety regs.
• Coordinate with customers on on-site safety initiatives and risk mitigation.
• Develop safe work instructions, procedures, and JHAs.
• Maintain administrative records and training documentation.
• Address safety violations promptly and mentor other department staff.
