Job summary

B&B Concrete seeks a Sr. Site Safety Manager to support project staff and the safety team in enforcing safety standards in line with federal, state, and local requirements. You will drive a zero-injury culture, conduct weekly site inspections, and lead pre-task safety analyses.

You will establish orientations, coordinate toolbox talks, coach workers in safe methods, investigate incidents, and maintain safety records. Bilingual Spanish preferred; CHST required. On-site roles across projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Safety and Health or equivalent.
• At least two (4) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction.
• Familiarity with safety/environment principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees.
• Administer and record participation in orientation program and issue identifications.
• Attend initial meetings to define roles within the project safety program.
• Conduct and document pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractor reps.
• Establish and conduct regular safety meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
