Job summary

Alliance Technical Group seeks a Site Safety Coordinator to ensure the safe operation, training and compliance of personnel at the Texas City site. The role emphasizes self-motivation and a passion for employee safety, with a starting pay rate of $22/hr.

The position involves working with the Safety Manager to drive programs, maintain records, coordinate safety activities, and ensure regulatory training and audits are completed on site.

Qualifications

• CSST/CSSS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years field experience preferred.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with strong communication.
• Willingness to learn and public speaking ability.
• Proficient with computer, tablet and app-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Safety Manager to drive safety programs and foster a safety culture.
• Ensure conformance with federal, state, local and corporate EH&S laws and policies.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Coordinate health & safety activities at the site through employee collaboration.
• Ensure training is completed and documented per regulatory requirements.
• Complete field safety audits.
• Review accident/incident reports and follow up as needed.
• Promote safety awareness through communication and training programs.
• Maintain inventory of safety supplies at the site.
• Oversee drug and alcohol testing timely.
• Assist with audits and with ATG Safety Program implementation.
