Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Certified Safety Engineer credential for the chemical industry or dangerous-goods manufacturing company is required.
• Enterprise and dangerous-goods enterprise safety management certificates are required.
• Environmental engineering and firefighting engineering certifications are preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; strong safety, environmental, regulatory, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide safety and environmental compliance, management systems, audits, training, risk reduction, incident investigations, and engagement with authorities and stakeholders.
• Oversee environmental operations at the plant, including wastewater and water treatment, waste disposal, resource efficiency, permits, and implementation of new requirements.
