Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a leader to oversee the site’s entire environmental program in Radford, VA. The role will direct a team of five Environmental Engineers focused on air, solid waste, and water compliance, coordinating with governing agencies and local communities to ensure regulatory adherence.

The successful candidate will stay updated on regulations, liaise with government bodies, and prepare/secure approvals for all compliance reports on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum five years of related work experience.
• Experience overseeing environmental programs and managing a team of engineers.
• Experience with government clients and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the site's environmental program in its entirety.
• Manage a team of five Environmental Engineers focused on Air, Solid Waste, and Water Compliance.
• Provide liaison services between the site and the community concerning environmental compliance.
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements to avoid issues for plant leadership.
• Prepare and secure approval of all compliance reports prior to the scheduled date.

Job description

A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry is required.

• Five years' work experience in a field related to this.
• Wastewater experience. Any previous work done for the government as a client. Government compliance experience
• Five years of experience are needed at a minimum. Had to deal with staff and projects.
• This role will be supervised directly by the Safety, Health, and Environmental Director.
• You will oversee the site's environmental program entirely.
• Managing five Environmental Engineers focused on Air, Solid Waste, and Water Compliance.
• The site was to be integrated directly with the governing agencies.
• Provide liaison services between the site and the community concerning environmental compliance. Stay informed about regulatory requirements to avoid unexpected issues for plant leadership.
• Prepare and secure approval of all compliance reports prior to the scheduled date.
