Site Safety Coordinator

Location: Brownsburg, IN
Schedule/Shift: Monday through Friday
Pay: $40 to $50 per hour
Position Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety, monitor site conditions, and help maintain compliance with applicable safety requirements. This role supports hazard identification, safety inspections, employee training, and incident documentation. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of safety experience, a BCSP certification, and OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 training.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety inspections to identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Monitor work activities for compliance with established safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.
• Partner with site leadership and employees to address safety concerns and promote safe work practices.
• Support incident investigations and document findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
• Maintain safety inspection records, training documentation, and incident reports.

Job Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional safety experience.
• Current certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
• Completion of OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 training.
• Knowledge of workplace hazard identification, incident prevention, and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ability to communicate safety expectations clearly and maintain accurate documentation.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
