Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain EHS policies, procedures, records, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate EHS training programs, including scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records.
  • Maintain training matrices to ensure required training is defined, assigned, and completed.
  • Support the implementation of workplace safety programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with safety inspections and audits, document findings, and track corrective actions.
  • Prepare and distribute safety communications, including newsletters, posters, and email updates.
  • Respond to employee questions and requests related to EHS programs and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for EHS meetings and management reviews.
  • Enter monthly EHS KPIs into designated corporate databases and monitor data for accuracy, trends, and inconsistencies.
  • Use established EHS data management processes and systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Support EHS compliance activities and related administrative processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EHS Administrator

Location: Camarillo, CA Pay: $24.50 per hour 26-10521

Job Summary

The EHS Administrator supports Environmental, Health, and Safety programs by maintaining documentation, coordinating training, tracking compliance activities, and supporting workplace safety initiatives. This entry-level role helps monitor EHS data, maintain training records, assist with inspections and audits, and communicate safety information across the organization. The position requires strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple administrative priorities.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements
  • 0-1 year of experience in environmental health and safety, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
  • EHS internship or related coursework is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EHS management systems is preferred.
  • EHS-related certification or training is preferred.
  • Experience with EHS software, databases, or data management systems is preferred.
Education
  • Education or coursework in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
