Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC seeks a Site Safety Manager to lead the safety program across multiple locations, ensuring regulatory compliance and accident-free operations. You will investigate incidents, perform inspections, and drive corrective actions to protect workers and assets.

The role requires knowledge of OSHA regulations, strong communication skills, and experience delivering safety training. A degree in health or safety is preferred. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements.
• Understanding of federal/state/local safety laws and site procedures.
• Ability to implement site-specific safety programs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer Site Health, Safety, Environmental and Security programs.
• Investigate unsafe conditions, inspections and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Veolia H&S standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine safety walkthroughs and monthly inspections.
• Prepare incident reports, root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Develop site-specific SOPs/JSA and maintain documentation.
