Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Site Resident Engineer for Bowling Green, OH to oversee and manage all technical aspects of construction projects. This permanent role offers a relocation package and travel stipend, with a salary range of $160,000–$170,000 per year.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, 5+ years in construction, and proven experience in expediting design decisions across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience expediting design decisions across civil, structural, architectural and MEP.
• Proficiency in BIM reviews, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all technical aspects of construction projects across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP domains.
• Conducting BIM reviews for plan accuracy and quality.
• Utilizing Procore and Bluebeam to streamline project management and document control.
• Ensure OSHA 10/30 compliance on all sites.
• Collaborate with PMs, architects, and other professionals to expedite design decisions.
• Monitor and inspect construction work for compliance with specs and quality standards.
• Prepare and present technical progress reports and issues.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Site Resident Engineer to join our thriving team in the construction industry. Responsibilities

• 1. Overseeing all technical aspects of our construction projects, including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP design decisions.
• 2. Conducting regular BIM reviews to ensure the accuracy and quality of construction plans.
• 3. Utilizing Procore and Bluebeam software to streamline construction project management and document control processes.
• 4. Ensuring compliance with OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety regulations on all construction sites.
• 5. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to expedite design decisions and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
• 6. Monitoring and inspecting construction work to ensure it is being carried out according to project specifications and quality standards.
• 7. Preparing and presenting technical reports on construction progress and any issues encountered.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

• 7. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various construction professionals.
• 8. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
• 9. Ability to prepare and present technical reports on construction progress and issues.
• 10. Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.
