Job summary

Reasint is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to build automation, connect development and operations, and improve reliability in production systems. You will work on IaC, Kubernetes, and release pipelines, while focusing on monitoring, tracing, and incident response to prevent outages and enable developers.

The role emphasizes building internal developer-focused platforms, writing tests, and releasing software with CI/CD practices, all within a hybrid work setup in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Experience with Kubernetes clusters.
• Establishing and monitoring SLI's, SLO's, and SLA's.
• Working with OpenTelemetry metrics, tracing, and logging.
• Leading incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem actions.
• Building release and deployment systems using CI/CD practices.
• Building user facing production software.
• Building internal platforms focused on improving the developer experience.
• Writing unit, integration, and e2e tests.
• Releasing software into production and validating functionality.

Responsibilities

• Prevent incidents and improve reliability in production systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to bridge gaps.
• Automate deployments and tooling to reduce toil.
• Lead incident response and postmortems to drive improvements.
