Job summary

Employvision Inc. is seeking a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join a multi-office team focused on high-availability financial systems. The role blends software and systems engineering to ensure reliability, performance, and scalable operations across production environments.

You will automate, instrument, and optimize systems, while partnering with investment teams and business units to promote resilience from early development through production.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or related STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Strong fundamentals in CS, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language; Python preferred.
• Familiarity with testing, source control, build systems, and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of production applications.
• Automate repetitive tasks and resolve recurring operational issues.
• Develop new engineering solutions from root-cause analysis.
• Own incident management and drive immediate fixes and long-term improvements.
