Job Description:

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Principal who will take ownership and responsibility in the end-to-end resolution of complex problems and technical design gaps. The role involves driving improvement initiatives that support the global reliability of our systems, including capacity planning, failover strategies, performance enhancements, and reduction of Mean Time to Awareness/Resolve. The engineer will provide technical solutions, specify requirements, analyze, develop, and test for current and new programs. Critical thinking to improve best practices and enterprise-level recommendations ensuring reliability and resiliency are essential. The role also includes advising and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field plus 7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience. Alternatively, 5 years of experience with a related degree.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), programming, scripting, infrastructure as code, virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring, alerting, observability, reliability engineering, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, DevOps, CICD.
• Proven track record of maintaining system availability at scale, with expertise in Application Performance Monitoring and end-user experience measurement.
• Ability to identify, debug, and resolve performance issues, with experience in implementing end-to-end monitoring and alerting.

This position can be telecommuted from any location in the U.S.
