Akamai Technologies, Inc. invites applications for a Site Reliability Engineer II in Cambridge, MA (remote work allowed within the United States). You will help ensure performance, reliability, and security of our cloud platforms, deploy scalable systems, and automate cloud service deployments.

You will monitor services, analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes to meet SLAs. We require a Master’s degree and two years of related experience, plus hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field plus two years of experience in SRE or related role.
• Two years of experience in production support, log analysis, RCA, security fixes, CI/CD, IaC, Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Python, Bash, GitLab, Linux, Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure application and network performance, reliability and security.
• Deploy and operate scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
• Automate cloud service deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services to meet SLAs.
• Analyze logs and provide recommendations to ensure smooth service operation.
