Job summary

Optimum is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform. This hands-on role combines cloud networking, IaC, observability, and incident management to support critical applications.

You will lead the design of enterprise-scale GCP infrastructure, implement automation, and guide incident response to improve reliability and service levels across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale GCP infrastructure.
• Experience leading SRE teams and building reliable platforms.
• Strong automation and IaC skills with Terraform or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate enterprise-scale GCP infrastructure and platforms.
• Build and manage solutions using GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Architect and support cloud networking including NCC, Interconnect, Cloud VPN, Cloud Router, Shared VPC, and Private Service Connect.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate deployment and operations via CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and manage SLOs, improve observability, and reduce toil through automation.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews to improve reliability.
