Job summary

Rubrik is seeking Site Reliability Engineers to ensure Rubrik's infrastructure services run smoothly and scale for future growth. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to design, implement and maintain reliable systems across databases, Kubernetes, and the cloud.

This role blends software and systems engineering to keep services healthy and efficient. This position emphasizes high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, monitoring, and automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years designing and managing relational databases with focus on performance, scalability, reliability, high-availability, and DR.
• Experience operating database layer of a large scale SaaS product.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or others.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, Java, Scala, or C++; strong problem solving and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability and durability of databases.
• Write and review code; design upgrades and capacity plans.
• Build monitoring and automation to improve efficiency across teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and follow-the-sun support across continents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve Polaris Cloud Platform.
