Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to build and operate reliable, scalable services across our platform. You will blend DevOps, SRE, and software skills to automate operations, support high-availability production environments, and improve developer productivity.

The ideal candidate will drive reliability from the start, partner with engineering, and implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and automated resilience at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years working on Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes.
• Experience with large data sets, dashboards (Power BI, Grafana).
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Observability with Datadog and Splunk; CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Python scripting for automation and delivery pipelines.
• AWS and Azure cloud expertise, including lambda and API Gateway.
• Linux and Windows scripting, automation, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate resilient, scalable systems using DevOps, SRE, and software development best practices.
• Deliver high-availability services through automation and infrastructure as code.
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for distributed systems.
• Support CI/CD automation, deployment workflows, and production tooling.
• Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and recovery improvements.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability into the SDLC.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and self-healing across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Validate resiliency and performance through testing, chaos engineering, and capacity planning.
