LaunchCode is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to partner with software engineers to improve reliability and production readiness. You will automate repetitive tasks, build resilient systems, and focus on global-scale availability.

The role emphasizes scripting (Python/Bash/Go), monitoring, incident response, and collaboration across teams to reduce operational risk and drive continuous improvement. Strong Linux fundamentals and cloud expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in SRE, production support, or DevOps.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and networking basics.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiar with monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and observability.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, containers, and orchestration.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance and availability issues.

Responsibilities

• Support high-availability production environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Monitor health with metrics, logs, traces.
• Troubleshoot across applications, Linux/Unix, networks.
• Contribute to cloud infra, CI/CD, containers.
• Assist capacity planning and disaster recovery.
• Participate in incident response and postmortems.
