Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of its systems and infrastructure. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to automate processes, enhance resiliency, and implement self-healing strategies.

Required are strong Linux/Unix expertise, cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and proficiency in Python/Go/Java/Ruby, plus hands-on with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong Linux/Unix, networking, cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Programming in Python/Go/Java/Ruby; scripting with Bash/PowerShell.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proven CI/CD implementation experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Ability to lead incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Agile, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health, performance, and alerts; respond to incidents promptly.
• Implement incident response processes to minimize downtime.
• Design and maintain automation tools, scripts, and deployment processes.
• Apply infrastructure-as-code for consistent, repeatable environments.
• Optimize resources for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Use monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic) to identify bottlenecks.
• Forecast capacity needs and plan for growth across environments.
• Lead cross-functional incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Drive automation and self-healing capabilities across systems.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce standards.
