Job summary
Thomson Reuters is strengthening its Site Reliability Engineering capability to enhance production reliability and reduce toil. The role involves supporting observability platforms, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve incident response and operational readiness.
You will work with product engineers, platform teams, and operations partners to maintain reliable services, document runbooks, and ensure accurate operational context during incidents.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related field.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, monitoring, or automation.
- Experience with production telemetry and incident response.
- Ability to write and maintain operational docs and runbooks.
- Scripting or programming in Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java, or Go.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain SRE tooling, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks.
- Investigate service health issues using logs, metrics, traces, and dashboards.
- Contribute to incident response, post‑incident reviews, and action tracking.
- Document findings, hypotheses, actions, and open questions during incidents.
- Help improve operational context and deployment visibility across teams.
