Job summary

Schonfeld is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our AI Technology team, helping to ensure stability and scalability of our internal Agentic AI platform. This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute code, automation, observability, and support users during incidents.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with evolving product requirements and engaged business stakeholders. You will define SLOs, own observability and reliability across agents, gateways, LLM proxies, and RAG

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud automation or SRE experience.
• Experience creating applications in Python.
• Experience with REST APIs and async architectures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres/MySQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch).
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions and CI/CD.
• Strong communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce SLOs, error budgets, and incident runbooks.
• Own observability, incident response, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure high availability of agents, gateways, LLM proxies, and RAG pipelines.
• Support users during incidents with root-cause analysis and updates.
• Improve core platform and developer experience.
